At Jestomic, we are thrilled to celebrate 20 years of innovation, family values, and global connections! A simple, practical solution for a common parenting struggle began our journey. It has grown into the beloved Push Me Home bike push handle, known worldwide.
Our journey began with a Christmas morning memory that we’ll never forget. Our son, excited to ride his very first bike with training wheels, set out on a family walk. But soon, he grew tired and frustrated, leading to the all-too-familiar toddler tantrum. Walking back to the car with an exhausted little rider became a real challenge. We wanted to make this experience easier. We crafted a quick solution with a tent pole. However, it wasn’t the comfort and ease we had hoped for.
We were determined to create something that would genuinely work. We set out on a design journey. We asked the right questions and tested ideas. We wanted a handle that was comfortable and durable. It also needed to be detachable, lightweight, and easy for parents to carry. Our goal was to create something that would be quickly attached for crossing streets. It would also need to navigate busy areas and then be easily detached for free riding. After many prototypes, Push Me Home was born, and we realized we had something special. If we found it helpful, we thought, maybe other parents would too.
Now, two decades later, Push Me Home has become a parenting essential in households across the globe. It has helped countless parents enjoy outings with their children without the stress of meltdowns. They can avoid the struggle of carrying both a bike and a tired little one. We have watched our son outgrow his need for it. Then, our daughter did the same. The legacy of Push Me Home continues with families everywhere.
From our family to yours, thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to 20 years of Push Me Home and many more to come!
